A guaranteed original Japanese ‘B2’ movie poster from 1994 for Isao Takahata's superb animated comedy fantasy "Pom Poko". (The literal translation of the Japanese title is apparently "Heisei era Racoon Dog War Pom Poko"!)

From the esteemed Studio Ghibli and the eighth film written and directed by Takahata, this fun fantasy stars the Tanuki, mysterious shape-shifting supernatural beings of Japanese folklore.

The Japanese version makes many comedy and song references to the creature's testicles. To share Western blushes, they are referred to as Raccoon Pouches!

The highest grossing Japanese film of 1994, Pom Poko was also chosen as the Japanese submission for the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar.

This superb Japanese poster has never been folded and is in fantastic condition save for  tiniest of nicks to the centre top edge. It will frame and display incredibly well. A super poster for any Studio Ghibli fan!
